Usually, carbon steel or alloy steel grades with regulated levels of carbon, manganese, and silicon are used to make CDS tubing. The tubing’s mechanical qualities are improved by the cold drawing process, which raises its tensile strength, yield strength, and surface finish. Depending on the steel grade, tensile strength normally varies from 450 to 700 MPa, with close tolerances and excellent dimensional accuracy.
