Carbon Steel A192 Tubing consists mainly of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. It is utilized for high-pressure boiler and superheater applications. The chemical composition commonly includes up to 0.18% carbon, 0.27–0.63% manganese, and traces of phosphorus and sulfur. Mechanically, A192 tubing is very strong with a minimum tensile strength of 325 MPa and yield strength of 180 MPa. It is also very good in elongation and hardness properties, thereby being highly suited for applications that require resistance to pressure, heat, and corrosion at highly operating conditions.
