Alloy Steel Gr B7 Fasteners contain majorly chromium and molybdenum, yielding high hardness and resistance to corrosion. These fasteners contain 0.30-0.40% carbon, 0.75-1.00% manganese, and 0.80-1.05% chromium. They have great mechanical properties, such as a minimum yield strength and tensile strength of 125 ksi and 105 ksi, respectively. Because of their high-temperature capability and great fatigue life, they are suitable for extreme use. Treated for increased strength, the fasteners are also tough and ductile and are in compliance with ASTM A193 standards for applications under high pressure and high temperatures.
