ABS DH36 Shipbuilding Steel Sheets and Plates consist of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, and trace elements such as aluminum and nitrogen, making them highly strong with excellent weldability. The mechanical properties are a minimum 355 MPa yield strength and tensile strength of 490 to 620 MPa. It has better toughness, particularly in low-temperature marine environments, and is best suited for structural applications. ABS DH36 is normalized or thermo-mechanically rolled, further improving its stress and impact resistance in harsh sea conditions to provide maximum performance and structural integrity.
