SA 285 Grade C sheets and plates are carbon steel materials specifically crafted for low to intermediate pressure vessel applications. Typically, they contain a maximum of 0.28% carbon and 0.90% manganese, with very low levels of phosphorus and sulfur. These plates boast a minimum yield strength of 165 MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 380 to 515 MPa.
