EN 24 sheets and plates are made from alloy steels that include nickel, chromium, and molybdenum, providing remarkable mechanical properties. The typical chemical makeup features 0.36-0.44% carbon, 1.3-1.8% nickel, 0.9-1.4% chromium, and 0.45-0.70% molybdenum. These elements contribute to high tensile strength (850–1000 MPa), good ductility, and impressive impact resistance. EN 24 also boasts high fatigue strength and excellent hardenability, making it ideal for components that face extreme stress and thermal conditions. Its well-balanced composition ensures a stable structure and long-lasting performance, even in tough environments.
