Armour 500 Sheet and Plates consist of high-strength, quenched, and tempered alloy steel with elements including carbon, manganese, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum to increase hardness and toughness. They have very good tensile strength, usually in the range of 1350–1650 MPa, and possess satisfactory elongation properties.
